My story

　　My name is Jessie.  I am microchipped, spayed, and am vaccinated. 

　　I am very good about using my litter box and I eat big cat food. Although, I really like that stuff that comes out of the can! I am like any other kitten - I like to play, run around with my siblings, and carry my favorite toy around. One of my favorite things to do is catch flies and anything else that moves or flies. My favorite place to nap is in your lap and I love to just hang out with my people. I have never been outside, but I like to watch the outside world through the window. I’m not a big fan of belly rubs, not like my brother, but I am very sweet and love to snuggle and get attention! I have been introduced to lots of cats, bunnies, birds, and dogs - the dogs scare me a little bit, but I think I could get used to them if I spent more time around them.

　　All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. 

　　Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. 

　　If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment.
