My story

　　Meet Jerem! This handsome guy was approximately 2 years old when he was rescued from the Devore Shelter in February 2022.

　　Jerem’s foster family has never seen a kitty adjust so quickly to a new environment. He came out of the carrier and immediately wanted to lay on a human. Months later, he still takes advantage of humans on couches by placing himself anywhere he can potentially fit - on a hip, back, or chest (his favorite because it allows him to stare into your eyes, directly and up close!). He instantly became friends with all of the other felines in the house - even the old grumpy kitty thought Jerem was cool.

　　Jerem naps hard and he plays hard. At times, he doesn’t understand his own strength, which can be difficult for kitties that aren’t accustomed to roughhousing. He also loves food, so he has a decent amount of weight to throw around. He is curious and likes to explore, so be prepared for him to get into and onto anything he can reach.

　　Even though Jerem gets along with everyone, he may not be the best kitty for small children because he thinks that nibbling is playful. There aren’t any dogs in his foster home, so his feelings about canines have yet to be determined. He is a social butterfly with energy to spare, so he would prefer a human and/or kitty to keep him company most of the day.
