My story

　　Are you looking for a new best friend to help keep you active this summer? If so say hello to Jenkins! This guy has a zest for life and a need for speed, he is so excited to meet you and start this awesome adventure called life. Jenkins will need a family that is dedicated to his physical enrichment, taking him for walks daily and offering him lots of playtime in the yard. He will also need daily mental enrichment such as find-it toys and puzzle feeders to help keep his mind as active as his body. Jenkins is a very food-motivated guy and he is looking forward to learning new tricks and manners from his new family. He already knows "Sit" and "Down" and can't wait to learn cool new tricks! Sometimes he can be a little jumpy when excited so he will need a home that can use positive reinforcement training to help him be the best boy he can be. He is best suited for a family with older children and should meet them before adoption to make sure that he is a good match for your family. Once he has gotten his wiggles out, Jenkins would love to climb into your lap and snuggle in for a well-deserved nap. He appears to be housebroken and tells you when he needs to go potty outside. When meeting dogs here at the shelter Jenkins seems to be a little inexperienced and prefers to take things slow and meet calm, social dogs. He will need to meet any dogs in the home before adoption and may do well with polite dog who will give him space as he needs it. Does Jenkins sound like the perfect addition to your home?
