Jazz's story
At Wags and Whisker's Pet Rescue:
From Jazzs foster:
Mama Jazz was on the euthanasia list at the Stanislaus shelter with a belly full of babies. The shelter said she tested great with all dogs. Wags and Whiskers saved her and I brought her to my home shortly after. She gave birth in my home with me by her side and raised ger babies beautifully and now its her turn to find a forever home! She has done wonderfully with my puppy and they are the best of friends. Mama Jazz can be food aggressive (with dogs only not people). It's not an outright attack but she will snarl/growl/snap if a dog shoves his face in her food bowl so it is best to feed separately if another dog is in the home (I can feed them in the same room i just watch to make sure my puppy doesn't go and bug her). She chases cats so a no cat home is best. She does great with my 3 year old daughter. Obviously with any kid and new home you need to be diligent and observant but she has been nothing but sweet to her. She does bark at people she doesn't know and is a little scared of meeting new people initially but once this sweetheart opens up she is a wiggle but who would love a bazillion kisses and to lay in your lap all day long. We've been working on walking on a leash and she's getting better every time. Could use a loving home that is patient, willing to give her some training and love that she obviously didn't get in her previous situation.
