Jax is a smart andl lively 9 month old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix who weighs about 30 lbs.

　　His current person does not have a fenced yard and has some limitations which prevent her from being able to give him the exercise he needs.

　　She feels it is in his best interest to find him a home with a nice fenced yard and a more active lifestyle.

　　Typical of his breed he is high energy but also loving and affectionate. Jax gets along well with both adults and children as well as other dogs and cats.

　　He is house trained, knows how to use a doggy door and has also been crate trained.

　　He is good on a leash and rides well in a car.

　　Our adoption fee of $125.00 helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not ship our adoptables out of state and to ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
