My story

　　Jason was found in a local park that is a known dumping ground in Houston, TX. He was injured and limping. Animal Control was called and he was taken to the City Pound - and that's where his luck changed! We were contacted and happily took Jason into our rescue. He was treated at the vet and is now happy and healthy! Currently, he is in a kennel and the staff raves about how friendly he is with everyone! He greets you with a full body WIGGLE and he loves to Cuddle too! He likes to please people and listens extremely well! He comes when called and if he gets a little bit rowdy during play he calms quickly when asked. He is extremely motivated by praise and is very smart! We think he may have some border collie in him! He does have energy and would love a forever home that could provide him with daily walks or runs or has a nice-sized yard for him to play. He is dog friendly but can be a bit exuberant so probably best with older kids and larger/medium size dogs. No cats please. He is adventurous, loves snacks and is treat motivated which means he'll be a star pupil for training! He loves car rides, taking walks, is very loyal, protective and loving. Jason is a young GSD/border collie mix (we think, but can't be sure!) and is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. He is about a year old and weighs 75 lbs.
