My story
11/17/21 This sweet but shy kitty is Jasmine. Jasmine was surrendered to the shelter but unfortunately little information was provided about her. Jasmine was very matted when she came in but seems to feel so much better after being shaved. Jasmine is on the heavier side and would highly benefit from losing weight. Please ask our animal tenders about weigh loss foods, exercise opportunities for cats, and ways to feed that result in a more active cat, as it will be important to Jasmine's long term health to slim down. Jasmine most likely became so matted due to not being able to groom herself. Jasmine has been using her litterbox while here at the shelter. She was seen by the shelter vet and courtesy of the shelter fund had bloodwork and a teeth cleaning done! Jasmine has been easy to handle here at the shelter but definitely keeps to herself and hasn't completely warmed up to her animal tenders. We do not know how she does with other animals or children and would expect her to most likely hide initially while getting comfortable in her new home. Jasmine may prefer a quieter, more mature home with only older children, if any. If you are interested in meeting Jasmine please give the shelter a call!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt JASMINE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
