Im Jager! Im about a year old, love people and other dogs and, all in all, am pretty typical in my Labby joi de vivre for a pup my age.
I think I weigh about 70ish pounds
I was so happy to get to Safe Harbor I just couldnt contain my excitement enough to be still on the vets scale.
Someone was giving me away online when some kind people saw me and decided to take me home.
They were worried I might end up in a bad situation. Turns out they had two wee humans and, even though we were similar in age, I was a lot bigger and way bouncier than they were. So, to make a long story short, after a short stint at their house, they left me at a vet clinic.
The vet clinic called Safe Harbor to rescue me . . . . and here I am!
Im just getting settled in my foster home, but I can tell you everyone says Im an active boy who needs some training! I love exercise and, hey, I already know how to sit. Yes, its also true I need some work on my attention span, but no one has had time to teach me much.
Im a very waggy and friendly greeter, and when on leash, am an eager beaver who wonders why youre so slow!
When it comes to dog pals, Im ready to romp and play. It would be best if playmates were my size. Oh and BTW, Im house trained.
So heres my wish list for a new family: Kindly show me how to be a good boy, make my life predictable, take me to a positive-oriented training class, give me lots of exercise every single day, be patient with me and love me. Better have a sense of humor, too!
So, what do you think?
Im thinking: we are destined to be the best pals ever!
