My story

　　Jackie came to the Haven in 2016 after having been found shot and left for dead in a trailer park when she was only 6 months old. She had the strength and fighting spirit to stay alive until found by good Samaritans who took her to local rescue groups. After a great deal of medical intervention we are happy to say Jackie is healthy and very mobile. She does walk with a bit of a limp as a result of spinal trauma from the bullet. Unfortunately is has also left her with bladder and bowel control issues. We have been working to diaper train her and she crates very well at night. She is only two years old with a lifetime ahead of her. She is one of the sweetest, most gentle cats you could ever meet. We would love for someone that has the time and patience for a special needs cat to foster her or take her in as their own.
