My story
Jack is an 11 month old Shepherd mix. Jack was adopted at just 8 weeks old as an adorable little fluffball. It was love at first sight when he was first adopted...at least for Jack. After just a few months his family lost interested in him because he wasn't a little fluffy puppy anymore. They bought another puppy and put Jack outside. We were notified after months of the emotional neglect and were asked to take him back. Once we got jack back we found out he had, had zero training and had a long way to go. He went immediately into our intensive board and train program where he has learned to be the best dog ever. He is now potty trained, social, happy, loving, and smart. He loves to go on adventures with his foster mom and is great on a leash. His training has literally made him the most awesome dog. He goes to the farm with his foster mom often and loves it there! We envision Jack in a home where he can get lots of love, exercise, and continue his training. His wonderful trainer has actually offered life long training since she wants to see Jack succeed just as much as we do. She said Jack was actually her favorite dog she has ever trained and if she didn't have three dogs she would have kept Jack. We have noticed since Jack came into our rescue that he sometimes has little head tremors. We have taken him to the vet and the neurologist who have agreed that it's not effecting him at all and right now they are nothing to worry about. Only if they ever started changing his quality of life/making him sick etc should it be addressed further.Jack is just the best dog and because of crummy humans was dealt a crummy hand his first few months of life. Since then he has met the most wonderful humans who have turned his life around. He is SO ready for his forever family and deserves it so much.If you are interested in adding Jack to your family, please email us at [email protected]
