　　YAMMA would be a perfect fit for a family looking for a sweet, cuddly companion. She LOVES attention and craves being in the lap of a loved one whenever possible! YAMMA is happiest when her head tucked right under your chin, even when you are sitting up, she will nestle herself there. During nap time / bed time she loves to sleep under blankets and pillows, so check these places when you think may have lost her. YAMMA has the most adorable yawn in the world that is followed by her signature "owwww" that will melt your heart. If you're looking for entertainment, break out a harmonica and listen to her sing! YAMMA is house trained. She goes out and does her business right away and returns to the door when finished. I would recommend keeping an eye on or keeping her on a leash if you do not have a fenced in yard as I have caught her trying to sneak out through a crack in the fence a couple of times. She stays in her kennel when we leave the house with toys to keep her busy (although I am pretty sure she sleeps the whole time). If you have other dogs, YAMMA may take a little time to warm up to them, but will be fine as soon as she knows she can trust them. She has not been around kids at our home but she befriends every adult that has been over to the house. YAMMA is a female Jack Russell Terrier / Dachshund mix and is approximately 3 years and 3 months old (July 2013). She is a small dog and weighs about 10 pounds. For no fault of their own, YAMMA and her companions, Kizzy and Jessa, were surrendered to ARF by their owners. YAMMA is heartworm negative, up to date on shots, spayed and micro-chipped.
