　　Mia is a 1-year-old female Jack Russell/Bull Terrier mix who has already been spayed. She is brown with the most beautiful white markings! Her little ears are just adorable and work like radar as she listens to what is going on around her at the shelter. Mia weighs 26 pounds and will not get any bigger. This sweet and loving girl gets along well with the other dogs at the shelter and would be an awesome family dog because she loves children. Although highly adoptable Mia is marked special needs because she has screened positive for heartworms. If you are interested in giving Mia a loving home please speak to our staff about her medical needs.Dogs and puppies may be adopted for a fee of $120. Cats, 7 months and older, may be adopted for $50. Kittens, under the age of 7 months, may be adopted for $80. Adoption fees for pure breds may be higher and will need to be discussed with the Shelter Manager. PAHS is also offering the Better with a Buddy Program; if you adopt one kitten, you can adopt his or her buddy for half price. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), 30 days of insurance (as requirements met), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
