Jack Russell Terrier - Dozer - Small - Adult - Male - Dog
Hi my name is DOZER and I am an older gentleman and just love to hang out at home. I'm past the puppy stage so there won't be any chewing or pottying in the house. I'm house trained, crate trained and doggy door trained. I am a breeze to walk on the leash so instead of pulling I'm happy to walk beside my master. In areas where there is no traffic she allows me off leash and I follow her wherever she goes. I pretty much follow your lead. I won't run away if I accidently get loose which has happened a few times by slipping out of a loose collar. Though she says that?s okay! Cause now she knows I can be trusted off leash too. My foster mommy thinks I would be perfect for an apartment dog. I like it outside but I'm more than happy to just stay inside and chill on my bed. I am calm but playful. I'm loving when you need me and playful when you want to be amused. I play by myself, tossing my toy around so I don't always have to have my person provide the attention. I find my own way to entertain. I can definitely entertain you with my funny quirks! I love squeaky toys! I'm fine with sharing my toys with other dogs and I don't growl or try to steal bones from my four-legged housemates. In fact I like to lie side by side with them while I chew on my pig hoof. I like to cuddle with you on the couch or bed if allowed. My foster mommy doesn't allow me to get on the couch much. So it would be awesome if you did *wink wink*. My foster mommy taught me how to "sit" on command and will be working with me on "stay." I'm good with all dogs, cats and kids. I am currently living with an orphan 5 week old kitten and three male dogs about my size. I've been around larger dogs too and I do just fine. I don't really care too much for puppies considering I am older but if it's a calm puppy and respects me as an elder I will teach it all kinds of things. GOOD THINGS I promise! My foster mom is helping socialize me outside the home since I'm people shy on outings. I'm a little shy at first but don?t let my shyness fool you. You see I didn't get out a lot in my previous home and stayed home most of the time. So car rides weren't something I was used too. I'm getting over my car sickness now and I'm starting to enjoy getting out of the house for walks at Cottage Hill Park. I really enjoy going to Pet Supplies Plus on the rawhide isle to smell on the yummy treats!! MMMMmmm. In the household is where I truly come alive and become my true self in which you will come to love if you give me a chance to show you. I love the attention given and I bond quickly. Well if you have any more questions just email ARF. My foster mom would be more than happy to answer any questions you have for her. Please watch my video to see how playful and fun I can be!
