My story
Jack is a sweet, 3-year-old, wannabe Dalmatian (mix, with soft eyes and a great smile). He’s a shy boy in need of a quiet family that can make him feel safe and loved. Jack enjoys the company of other dogs, preferably females. There are 2 in his foster home and they all get along well together. He’s tried dog daycare but didn’t really want to mix with the other dogs; he just finds it too busy. He’d rather play with just a couple of close dog friends at a time. Jack wouldn’t do well in a home with cats. He has met some polite, dog-savvy kids while living with his fosters, and once he got to know them, they were his favorite cuddle pals. Dog savvy teenagers would be the best match, no kids under 14. Jack’s crate is important to him. It makes him feel safe and gives him a place to comfortably relax. He’s hoping you’ll be the person who can help build his confidence. He’s house trained but can have the occasional accident if he gets scared. We’re sure he’ll get past this in time in a calm, quiet home. Jack is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and neutered. Jack’s favorite things to do are going for walks, rides in the car, and chasing squirrels in the yard. He walks politely on a leash and will even keep you company in stores while you run errands, as long as the store isn’t too loud. Jack hopes to find a quiet forever home that will have lots of time and love to give him. Fenced yard required, no male dogs, no cats, dog-savvy children over 14. If you think you could give Jack the home he’s looking for, please contact Ned at [email protected] or Tena at [email protected] Currently located in Fate, TX (northeast Texas). Adoption $350.
