My story

　　FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR JACK BOY WHILE HE IS BEING TREATED FOR HEART WORMS.  Jack Boy is an 1-year-old male Terrier mix who must be neutered before he goes to a foster home.  'Special Needs' is indicated on his bio because he has tested heart worm positive; and we believe he is deaf.  Jack Boy will need to be in a foster home for about 8 weeks while he undergoes heart worm treatment.  PAHS will pay for the heart worm treatments; and we will provide everything you need to foster Jack Boy--food, crate, bedding, etc.  He has a long coat and one black spot around his right eye.  Our handsome guy weighs 41 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized dog.  Jack Boy is highly adoptable; he has a very calm temperament; and he is super well behaved!  He is leash trained, gets along well with other dogs, children, and even cats.  Jack Boy is also house trained.  Jack Boy is a super nice dog and his sweet disposition has made him a favorite with staff and volunteers.  Please consider fostering him; we bet you will end up adopting him once you foster!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
