My story

　　Hey there! If you are looking for a sweet and loving companion, look no further. Ivy is a sweet and affectionate companion just waiting to go into a home to snuggle up with her new family. Do not let her age fool you, she may look like she cannot keep up with the crowd but here youthful souls keep her young and energetic. She is truly a one of a kind pittie and is accented with one of the cutest and floppiest ears. Some say that she has the ears of an elephant and she uses her powerful ears to locate new people to greet and cuddle with. She enjoys playing with toys and especially loves chew toys. If you give her a new toy she will proudly pick it up and carry it around with her to show it off to everyone! Ivy sticks to everyone like glue and her goofy, wiggly self never fails to put a smile on everyone`s faces. Ivy would love to shine as the only pet in the home and would love to be in a home with older children due to her condition. Ivy is an extremely optimistic and resilient girl. During her senior examination, our vets found an old fracture in her hip, along with arthritis, that is causing her to limp from her back feet. Our medical team is currently working on helping reduce any pain she may feel, but Ivy is a tough girl with tough skin and is not letting this get the best of her. During the medical examination, we found out that Ivy is heartworm positive. She is currently on a treatment plan and Front Street covers the cost of treatment until she receives here 3rd injection treatment. We can go more in depth with you about this process.Despite her medical condition she is full of life and energy! She is patiently waiting for her forever home where she can live out the best years of her life with people, she can give endless love to.
