My story

　　This is Patty (now ISSA). She was saved by Wags and Whiskers and is recovering from a severe mauling. She lost the puppies she was carrying as well as an ear. Neither of which have dimmed the light inside of her. There is so much love in this dog. I thought for sure that when she got to my house she would rip around my yard as so many others have done, happy to be free to do so. Not Patty. She wanted to be wherever we were. She has a beautiful, gentle spirit. Hugs and kisses are given freely. Love shines in her eyes. (Her eyes are two different colors, gold on the white side and dark brown on the gray side.) If all you wanted to do was snuggle and spend all your time together she would be content.

　　She paid no attention to the squirrels running around, or the resident cat at the rescue. I let her meet my little old man foster Gerald and she was calm and friendly. She is not too bad on the leash, rides quietly in the car and is very submissive.
