My story
Iris is a 5 year old Chihuahua weighing a whopping 3.8lbs. Iris was surrendered to our of our rescue partners in New Mexico a few weeks ago. She was surrendered for no good reason, other than her family just didn't want the responsibility anymore and were travelling for the summer...how horrible.Iris has now been in CO for a couple weeks and her fosters said she is the sweetest girl She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Iris wants nothing more than to snuggle with her human an dhang out during the day. She gets along great with the other dogs in the foster home but she doesn't seem to interested in playing or toys, she is much more of a netflix and snuggle type of girl. That being said, she will obviously need daily walks/mental stimulation just like every dog, but for the most part, of she has someone to snuggle with and to show her affection she will be happy. She would love a human who she can sleep in bed with and really just be a life sidekick to. Iris does seem to be potty pad trained but will need a human who can be patient while she learns the rules of a new home.If you are interested in adopting Iris, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com##1466776##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Iris, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
