It is small enough they can be trailered when necessary (no trailer included) and docking is quite easy compared to a larger vessel. Yet the interior is huge and luxurious. The layout of how Carver designed these is one of the nicest and most functional and comfortable layouts of any 27 foot boat ever built. It feels more like a 32 foot boat once you get inside because of the way everything is configured. With the full size bed in front of the salon with curtains and the kitchen midships and fully enclosed head opposite and the double berth cabin aft with the entry companionway on the starboard side, you get the feel that it has everything that a much larger vessel has but in a smaller package with much better fuel economy.
