ACDR is a foster-home-based rescue. We do not have a shelter or facility you can visit. Please visit our website for more information about our organization and adoption process as well as the current status of our available dogs.
The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt; it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in, we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in. Apply at
Indy is a 7-month-old, 30-pound girl who loves people and was raised with children. She has been around cats, goats, ducks and other dogs, but does try to herd large livestock. She takes a little time to warm up to new dogs and then tends to be a bit bossy. She loves to play chase with her foster sister and loves keeping the birds off the property. She does love to run but also enjoys a good lap to snuggle in and be loved on. She is crate-trained and potty-trained, and she uses dog door. She is doing well on leash training. She is learning car rides are ok now but is still a little nervous. Indy is fostered in Paulden, AZ.
