Travel back in time with this old violin. One inside label reads IMPERIAL TRADMARK. The other reads JAPAN. With a 14" body and 23-1/8" overall length, it's a 4/4 full-size violin. Two-piece lightly flamed maple back. Maple neck. Spruce top. It has ordinary age and play wear, most notably scuffs and scrapes on the top, particularly around the bridge feet. Sound post is standing. Two different pairs of tuners. Pegs and peg holes are in pretty good round. The bow is hairless. The old case is quite worn. The case handle is missing. The middle case latch doesn't work, but the other two latches work. It's an interesting old fiddle, ready for its next owner.1 Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 32"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
