  $1200 OBO - iMac 27-inch screen - i7 - 2.93 GHz Quad-Core - 16GB RAM - 1TB HD.

  This equipment was purchased directly from Apple in 2012 and upgraded to a maxed-out 16GB of RAM. It has the huge 27 inch screen and is a screamer terrific for graphics or video work, or just power-browsing the interwebs. At the time I acquired it, this was the fastest Apple computer ever made.

  This was among the last iMac machines to consist of a 'SuperDrive' CD/DVD reader and burner drive before Apple stopped including them in their computers.

  It is in ideal condition and consists of an Apple wireless keyboard and magic touch computer mouse.

  The iMac "Core i7" 2.93 27-Inch (Mid-2010) technically is a "configure-to-order" configuration of the iMac "Core i5" 2.8 27-Inch (Mid-2010), but also is recorded as a different model for reader benefit. Apart from processor, these 2 models equal.

  The iMac "Core i7" 2.93 27-Inch Aluminum (Mid-2010) is powered by aQuad Core 2.93 GHz Intel "Core i7" I7-870 (Lynnfield) processor with a devoted 256k level 2 cache for each core and an 8 MB shared level 3 cache. In lieu of a system bus, it has a "Direct Media Interface" (DMI) that "links in between the processor and chipset" at 2.5 GT/s.

  Externally, the "Mid-2010" iMac line utilizes the very same "edge-to-edge" glass design and "smooth all aluminum enclosure" as the "Late 2009" models changed. Internally, however, the "Mid-2010" line is geared up with faster processors, quicker graphics processors, and much faster memory, along with support for the SDXC SD card format.
