Who doesn't love nursery rhymes - and PUPPIES! Humpty Dumpty was the last of the Rhyme Litter to open his eyes, but he's been the leader of the pack ever since! He l oves to play with his siblings, but he's not scared to play with the big dogs, too. He is determined to beat his 65-lb foster brother in a game of tug of war!
These puppies (three boys and one girl) are all working hard on the basics: potty training, walking on leash and being comfortable crated. They've done well with other dogs, the resident cat and with children - Foster Mom is a teacher and the puppies have field tripped to school with her! They respond well to correction and ride well in the car, crated or loose. Being typical puppies, playtime is at the top of their to-do list, whether alone with a toy or tackling each other. Each one will ace basic puppy training classes and will come out even more well-rounded than he or she already is! Judging by their current weights and age, they may end up being on the large size.
So...are you looking for a sweet, cuddly, adventurous, playful sidekick? Then Humpty Dumpty is your guy! If you've got the time, energy and patience to keep up with him and help him to be the awesome canine pal he's meant to be, fill out an application today! One of our super Adoption Counselors will be in touch!
The Rhyme Litter Backstory:
Mom, Mother Goose, was part of an over 100-dog intake, split with other rescue groups. Over 30 were still at the residence (many pregnant) when our Rescue Partner got involved and intook several dogs, but loaded all the dogs and had them spayed/neutered with the help of the Bissell foundation. Unfortunately, there weren't many foster offers so they had to bring dogs back to the residence - but did give them all dewormer, bravecto, and rabies vaccinations. Mother Goose was trying to deliver puppies, her eye was missing from being shot with pellets, her body, head and even vaginal area is riddled with pellets from the owner who admitted to shooting the dogs to break up the mating rituals. Mother Goose gave birth in the car in a child's car seat. At one-week old, their current foster offered to intake this family and has done a fabulous job.
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
