Hugo's story
I need your help, folks, if you would be so kind. My name is Hugo and, at 10 years old, I found myself at a Birmingham shelter as a stray. I weigh 106 pounds, have been neutered, and I'm HW negative so I've obviously been taken care of throughout my life. I think my owners just abandoned me; I sure hope it was not because I'm a senior fellow with a few lumps and bumps. That would be cruel and I don't deserve it. Here's where I need your help; I have to get some biopsies done on a couple of masses just in case. Fingers crossed it's nothing bad but I am scared about it and I could use some donations to pay my vet bill for the procedure. The name Hugo means "bright in mind and spirit". And, even though I'm not a youngster, that describes me well. I'm a sweet, handsome Golden fellow. I'm house trained. And I'm also vaccinated and microchipped. I love to eat and play and go for short walks. I'm very outgoing and get very excited to meet new people of all ages. I will be your sugar-faced darling if only you let me come into your life. Will you....please?
