My story

　　Hughes is an 1-year-old male Australian Shepherd mix who must be neutered before he is adopted.  He was brought in as a stray when a nice man found him and helped get him to safety at PAHS.  Hughes has a medium length coat that is mostly black with brown and white markings.  He weighs 41 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized adult dog.  Hughes was initially shy when he came to us but he has warmed up to our staff.  Through their love and kind treatment, he has learned to not only trust folks but to enjoy their company.  Hughes is great with other dogs and would be good with children.  He is leash trained and would love to show you what a good boy he is when going for a walk.  Please come meet this handsome and well behaved fellow--Hughes!  You are sure to fall in love with him.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
