My story

　　This very large, lovable hunk is Howie! He's hard to photograph because he's constantly in the upside-down-lap position. He's basically a big pile of marshmallow fluff in cat form. If you are looking for a sweet

　　kitty companion to lounge with you on the couch while you work or watch TV, then Howie is your man; this guy will not leave your side- or lap.

　　Just be prepared to give belly rubs- his favorite! He's about 5 years old and is neutered, negative for FeLV but positive for *FIV (read below), vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms. Howie would like for you to know that hje's the total package! He would be best as a solo kitty as he prefers to receive ALL of your attention and is not a fan of sharing your lap!

　　*Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is a virus found in cats that attacks the immune system, leading to increased susceptibility to infections. It’s commonly transmitted by male cats that aren’t neutered due to the probability of fighting/biting. FIV positive cats need to be kept indoors, fed a high quality diet and kept from illness. FIV cats can live peacefully with other cats that are negative for the virus and have just as long a lifespan. It’s nothing to be feared!
