My story
07/22/21 This handsome boy is Howard Gene aka Howie. Howie was surrendered to the shelter because he was being aggressive towards the other pets in the home (dog and cat). Because of that we do think Howie would do best in a home with no other pets. Howie was said to be litterbox trained however he had been known to spray. We are hoping by neutering him this behavior will correct itself. Howie was said to have previously done well with babies, children, and loves women! However, he can be a bit on the shy side when it comes to meeting strangers and men. Howie has warmed right up to his animal tenders here at the shelter! In his previous home Howie was known to enjoy spending his time in high places, window sills, and open drawers! He was known to jump onto the counters and get into trash when left unattended. Howie's previous owners stated that he is the `sweetest best boy` but he just needed to be the only pet in the home. If you have no other animals and are looking for a feline companion and this boy sounds like the right fit please give the shelter a call!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt HOWIE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
