　　Hi there! My name is Roxy! I am a 6 year old Hound / Labrador Retriever mix with lots of love to give. My two daughters (Socks and Squirt) and I were recently surrendered to ARF by our elderly owner who was physically and financially unable to take care of us any longer. He was so very sad to see us go, but I know it was for the best! Now I am looking for my forever home! I am a little shy at first, but I will quickly warm up with a scratch on the head and a good belly rub. I am a very calm girl and although I do love to go for walks and to play outside, I find there is nothing better than just to snooze on the couch. A few of my favorite things are to nap, chew on my bone, and for someone to rub my head. Did I mention naps!? I really love those! I am not fond of cats, so I prefer a home without any. My foster mom often tells me how wonderful I am. I don't "go" in the house, I don't fight with my foster sibling, and I am great in the car! I will quietly sit still while my foster mom watches TV, works on the computer, or does the laundry. Not to brag, but I really am the perfect dog for just about anyone. I have even been great in an apartment setting! All that's left is for you to adopt me! I hope to see you soon!!! ROXY is approximately six and a half years old (as of Dec. 2013).
