Hound - Penny - Medium - Young - Female - Dog

　　PENNY has blossomed into a beautiful girl! She is a funny, energetic, mischievous girl! She loves to play and is quite the social butterfly! She loves every person, dog and cat she meets. She is great with children of all ages. PENNY is now walking great on a leash and loves the outdoors. We are working on her manners and chewing habits and getting her adjusted to being in the home environment. I think PENNY is playing catch up from her past experiences of not being able to act like a happy dog. She is very much the "class clown" amongst my dogs. She is always doing some stunt to make us laugh! She would be great with an active family with children and other dogs because PENNY is always on the go! PENNY has a special spark about her that will make you fall head over heals in love from the first moment you look into her big brown eyes! She has had a rough start at life but you would never know it from being around her wonderful personality! PENNY deserves a loving FurEver home and her own special people to call her very own!

　　PENNY is a female Hound mix and is approximately 3 years old (Feb 2012). She is a medium size dog and weighed only 30 pounds when she arrived at ARF. PENNY was rescued by an ARF volunteer after she was found living on her own near a fast food restaurant. She was extremely thin and dirty and was just looking for someone to help and love her. PENNYS medical needs were attended to and with regular meals and a lot of TLC she quickly began gaining weight and becoming a healthy girl again. Although PENNY had been living on her own for a long time, her gentle, friendly and loving personality continued to shine through!
