Hound - Finnegan - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog
This dog is a courtesy posting on our website. We have not met or evaluated this dog. Please see contact information at the end of this posting.
Finnegan is a 2-year old dog in need of a good home. He started life as a homeless street dog in a fishing village in southern India called Injambakkam, near Chennai. Lovingly dubbed ?Purebred Madras Hounds,? the Indian country dog is a hardy, loyal, intelligent, and loving companion.
For two-years, Finnegan and his brother were fostered in India with other Madras Hounds and their pack leader, an American Boxer named Esme. Today, he is lucky to be alive, loving, and being fostered on the Central Coast and is looking for a nice family of his own.
Finnegan weighs 30 pounds, strong and healthy, neutered, current on all vaccinations, and microchipped. He would be happiest as an only dog in a cat-free house with a child to love him. He loves playing ball, receiving belly rubs, chasing balls, and sleeping late on weekends. He?s a great exercise partner and has mastered sit, catch, and leave it. He?s looking for someone that will teach him more!
