Hound - Casey - Small - Adult - Male - Dog
This dog is a courtesy posting on our website. We have not met or evaluated this dog. Please see contact information at the end of this posting.
Casey is a 2-year old dog in need of a good home. He started life as a homeless street dog in a fishing village in southern India called Injambakkam, near Chennai. Lovingly dubbed ?Purebred Madras Hounds,? the Indian country dog is a hardy, loyal, intelligent, and loving companion.
For two-years, Casey and his brother were fostered in India with other Madras Hounds and their pack leader, an American Boxer named Esme. Today, he is lucky to be alive, loving, and being fostered on the Central Coast and is looking for a nice family of his own.
Casey weighs 27 pounds, is healthy, neutered, current on all vaccinations, and microchipped. He would be happiest as an only dog in a cat-free house with a child to love him. Casey loves to run, chase butterflies, play with puppies, and sleep. He has mastered ?fake sleeping? in order to avoid giving up a prime resting position, keeping one eye open to see if he?s been caught makes this trick not so great!
