　　Meet Alfie, a one to two year old male hound/wire-haired terrier mix. He has a nice looking white shaggy coat with rust and black markings. Alfie is a big dog, weighing 50 pounds. We're betting some hunting dogs got together that shouldn't have to come up with his mix!!

　　Alfie was pulled from our local animal shelter where he had been picked up by Animal Control and no one came to claim him. He is a very nice, friendly dog who is not too hyper. Alfie is playful with a moderate activity level but he is too big for an apartment. Alfie will require a fenced yard since he is a hound mix and could take off after a scent and not come back.

　　Alfie is good with other dogs but NOT GOOD WITH CATS so he will need a home with no cats. Alfie should be fine with children but better to be 12 and up due to his size. We have started his crate training. Alfie is up to date on his vet care, neutered, microchipped and is heartworm negative. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. What a cool looking dog -- he could have his own TV show!!
