Meet Houdini! He is a tan and white Boxer mix and he is about 7 months old. Boxers are known for their great love and faithfulness to their humans and their friendly temperament at play and Houdini is no exception! This bouncy boy loves to make new friends- human and canine alike! He is still learning that not all dogs like exuberant puppies in their face, but he responds quickly and appropriately to correction, he's just trying to play! Houdini loves to play with toys, balls, kongs, or friends, and he's quick to settle in for snuggles after a good play session. True to the Boxer breed, Houdini is an energetic and playful boy and is great with children, but he's strong and smart and will need adequate exercise and mental stimulation to ward off boredom. Houdini will need a family committed to his needs including, plenty of play, exercise, training and integration into your family. He is great in the car- just curls up and waits to get somewhere fun. He's working on leash skills and keeping his feet on the floor (or at least off his humans) in his foster home. As he continues to settle and learn new things, we'll add updates here.
