My story
It`s Horton A533705!
Horton was originally adopted from A New Leash on Life. He showed up as a stray here running loose at our shelter. We had to trap him to catch him, but wow, what a doll baby.
Horton is an adorable 2 year old neutered pup. He has a beautiful reddish coloured coat. I believe he’s Coonhound and Labrador retriever mixed. He uses his nose for EVERYTHING. He wanted to smell it all. My hair, my shoes, all the furniture, and every kennel as we passed by. He seems to be very calm and inquisitive. He’s extremely somber in his kennel but really picks up the personality once you get him out. I think he would do well with an owner that understands his breed and allows him ample time to explore with that nose of his! He has a curiousity towards cats and has done well at HAS in play groups with other dogs. He’s fully vetted and ready to be part of your family! He was taken home with a foster for a week and they LOVED him and said a lot of great things about him - housebroken, well-behaved, listens, knows commands, loves being a couch potato and receiving loving. They think he will make a great family dog!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt HORTON, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
