Hope's story

　　INTAKE DATE 7/14/18 MEDICAL HOLD Hope is suffering from horrible neglect. She is extremely underweight, heartworm positive, has horrific mange, and is pregnant. Our immediate priorities are to get some weight on her before she delivers in the next week or so and find her some relief for her mange; she's absolutely miserable and has scratched herself bloody in countless places. Hope's vet is working very hard to figure out the safest, most effective treatment options at this time. Please keep Hope in your thoughts and prayers as she desperately needs them. And, as you can imagine, her vet bills are going to be extensive. Any donations toward her care would be greatly appreciated. We will post updates on Hope as we work to stabilize her condition. In regards to her puppies, we're very concerned about their survival and are realistic that some/all may not make it. We will do everything we can for them, but the odds are stacked against them.
