My story
***Special needs - please continue reading to learn about this amazing girl!***Hope is a special cat that came to our shelter after an injury that caused a fractured pelvis and the inability to go to the bathroom on her own. She is easygoing, sweet and loves people. She is happiest when curled up on the couch next to you. She has been around other cats and dogs in her foster home. While she is on cage rest for her fracture to heal, we do no expect her to get control back over her bathroom functions. She needs to be expressed 2-3 times a day in order to go to the bathroom. This will likely be lifelong. An adopter with previous experience expressing bladders and bowels is prefererred, or someone that has a relationship with a vet that is comfortable teaching and working alongside you. Hope is easy to care for once you get a schedule down and can play and cuddle like any other cat! If you would like to learn more and meet her please apply!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt HOPE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
