　　Hoover is a 4YO chunky monkey who was surrendered due to being beat up in the home by the resident bulldog. He has been awesome with other cats & dogs in his foster home!

　　Hoover is built like a typical bulldog....in all the wrong ways! It's nothing that can be surgically corrected, but he does move wonkey at times. Due to his body build (bad form and too fat) he's got arthritis 'in about all joints but one', according to our vet. Weight management and joint supplements can help Hoover feel in tip top shape!

　　Hoover should not be let on high furniture and jumping should be restricted as he can get gimpy when he over does it. He loves to go for walks and car rides...he'll get very frisky when he knows it's time to go! He'll pick up a toy in his mouth and 'bunny hop' to the door.

　　He is crate trained but would probably do okay free roam with time. He's not destructive but he is a VERY BIG BABY and may feel he has separation anxiety. He doesn't, but will work it if you give into it!

　　Due to his creaky joints, we recommend a little kid free zone for him. It would be horrible to have little people crawling on him or poking at him.

　　He would love a home where he doesn't have to be the boss. He would love a home with boundary & structure. He would love to cuddle with another furry! As bulldogs go, he's pretty low maintenance.....just the typical face folds and toe rubs at times. He's learning that touching feet & ears is no big deal but he does have a limit...we are trying to desensitize him. He's doing great!
