Honey Pie's story

　　Honey pie is as sweet as her name. Shes had about 10 years to work on her sweetness and shes got it just about perfect.

　　She loves a good nap and a long sleep and she loves a good, long walk.

　　She loves a cuddle and likes her space. This goes for dogs and humans. If you are in the bed she wants to be in, she will sit on you. Just dont try the same move on her.

　　I think she likes the company of other animals in the house. Other life forms nearby when the humans are gone is comforting. Shes never been destructive when left alone, but doesnt seem to like it. She has another dog and a rabbit friend to hang out with here. I dont think theres a giant cuddle puddle happening when Im gone, but there is peaceful, calm co existence.

　　Car rides are not her favorite, but I think if she had a secure bed or comfy spot to ride in, shed be less frightened. Of course if your destination is the dog park, shes going to be very excited!!!

　　Honey pie has had big dental surgeries and only has 3 teeth left. Soft food is a requirement for her. She is a big fan of meals and treats!

　　She also had a tumor removed since arriving in Portland. It had some cancer, but its all been taken out. She is cancer free and moving on! She is a survivor with the scar to prove it.

　　Its been a big 8 weeks since her new life started in Portland! She is healthy, rested up, and ready to find her forever home.

　　Every Underdog has been spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. All dogs have had a recent visit to the vet as well.

　　We offer a 10% discount for seniors, veterans and students. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application, we check references and visit your home as part of our adoption process.
