My story
Honey is a female chihuahua mix around 2 years old. She is spayed, current on age appropriate vaccines & microchipped. She weighs around 12lbs.
Honey came to us around a year ago from a very neglectful situation. She is by all means a DOGS dog, which means she latches onto the other dogs in her foster home & is their shadow - if one dog goes through the dog door, she goes through the dog door, etc. She will have to go to a home with another dog. She is submissive & learns new routines quickly - she is a follower. She warms up to people VERY slowly & gets her confidence from the other dogs. She enjoys getting chin scratches & takes treats very nicely. She loves to sleep in your bed once she's comfortable and/or if her buddy is in the bed. She has never been on a leash/harness & would love a home with an attached, secured yard or patio to sunbathe & go potty.
If you have a dog that is looking for a best friend, someone to take under their guidance & can accept Honey for who she is right now, please complete an adoption application at & you will be contacted within 48hrs if your application fits her current needs.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Honey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
