This
classic 1971 Honda SL70 Off-Road bike is a must-have for any Honda mini collector. I restored this bike in my
shop to be identical to the bike I bought new off the showroom floor in
1971. I rebuilt and sealed the engine along with the original Keihin
carburetor. The paint is
Aquarius blue with a urethane 2K clear-coat. Original wiring harness
with all lights and electrical working properly. Pretty much every
original nut and bolt has been touched on this bike. The side covers are
original and in perfect condition. The parts that are new include all
cables, seat cover, tires with tubes, rear rim, fork seals and boots,
piston rings, engine gaskets, seals on all shafts, handle grips,
mirrors, side cover grommets, battery, gas cap, and fuel petcock. The
inside of fuel tank is clean as seen in the pictures. Cold or hot start
on first kick (see video link below) a little cold blooded but once
warmed up it runs, rides, shifts, and brakes as it did new. I have
ridden bike around the neighborhood and it is a blast.
I will do everything I can to make the pick up of the bike
painless to the shipping company or individual picking it up. Bike can
be inspected during normal business hours. I can store the bike indoors
for a few months (no storage fees) just let me know the plans and I will
work with you.
Please ask any and all questions. Bike will be sold on a bill of
sale. Colorado will not title a bike without a horn the 71 did not have a
horn.

Terms of Sale
I will work with a legit buyer
professionally and friendly but the following is what I have to do to
eliminate scammers. I will hold bike until payment is made in full and
payment has safely cleared my bank. Clearing the bank can take a few
weeks depending on form of payment used. I will not accept any payment
that is over the amount due, I will not pay your shipper from your
funds. You pay the shipper and contact me with the shippers name and
when they will pick up the bike, of course after you have paid for the
bike and funds have cleared. Simply put I want paid and then I will
make sure your bike is safely shipped in the correct hands.
Shipping Information
I will work with you and any shipping company you choose (last bike I
shipped, shipper showed up at midnight. That is pushing the envelope but
I did get the bike to him.)
USHIP can get you a quote for shipping.
