HENRY's story

　　**Our puppies are placed in the Phoenix metro area,

　　for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption)

　　and for access to our veterinarian. Sorry, no exceptions.

　　Adoption begins with a Foster-To-Adopt arrangement that continues until

　　1) the puppy is old enough to be spayed/neutered and

　　2) until Puppy Kindergarten and Canine Good Citizen training are completed.

　　Adoption can then be finalized.

　　Henry is a happy, energetic puppy. He loves to run and play, and needs a large fenced yard. He has not had experience with other dogs, and will require socializing. When cat-tested, Henry demonstrated that he will most likely behave around polite cats, with proper introduction and supervision, of course.

　　We initially posted Henry's breed as mixed with Belgian Tervuren, and we believe that may be part of his history. However, his behavior, playstyle, and mannerisms resemble Australian Shepherd so we've updated to add that info.

　　"Fenced yard" means, a backyard that is adjacent to and connected with your residence. (It does not mean a nearby fenced area/dog park.)

　　"Companion animal" means, needs at least one other friendly dog that lives in the same household.

　　We DO NOT adopt to students as we have found that they often do not know or anticipate where life is taking them next.

　　Dogs remain posted while we screen potential adopters. As long as dog is designated "Available" we continue to accept applications.

　　We are staffed by all volunteers and use an application protocol to handle all inquiries about adoptable dogs. This system enables an efficiency that allows us to save and care for more dogs. Discussion about a dog - including scheduling of a home check or other dialogue - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption application. NO EXCEPTIONS. Thank you!
