My story
German Shepherd Mix  3 years  Female  Medium  50lbs We found Hema on the side of the road bleeding profusely from his right nostril and took her to two different vets since the first one could not get the bleeding to stop. He stayed at the vet for 3 days while they tried to figure out why she would not stop bleeding. The bleeding was stopped. She was very skinny, and in poor nutritional health so felt this maybe the problem. She has been with us for several years and her nose bleeds if there is hot weather and if she is in direct sun light. She is a special needs dog because of this. She may have a genetic disorder. Von Willebrand's disease. She is best for a home with no kids and no other pets. Hema does have shedding issues due to some skin problems that require daily care. She is not good with strangers and barks excessively if she hears people coming around. Hema can be destructive with household items so its best not to leave her unattended. She also likes to dig and jump fences so you need to have a large high fence. Hema can have separation anxiety as well if left alone too long. She also may have accidents in the home so she has to be watched to be taken outside to go to the bathroom. We do not have a central location to see our dogs. Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently. Appointments can be set up to meet any dog in San Diego. Currently we are unable to do any out-of-state adoptions.
