My story

　　Open your world....to me, Heineken! I'm a lean and leggy boy (perhaps I have some sighthound in me) who is ready for adventure! I was an owner surrender due to no fault of my own, but I was a very loved boy. When I first arrived at ACAR, I was a nervous fellow, but I've come SUCH a long way! I can still take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but I become very trusting after a few treats and gentle neck rubs. I do make friends with other dogs quickly and have a very long list of other dogs I play with! I've become somewhat of a water dog in recent weeks, and I love to sprint around and show off my long legs. When I'm inside with people, I'm much calmer and reported to be housebroken. I did live with cats previously and wanted to play with them, so I might need to learn boundaries but could do well living with a kitty again with a proper introduction. I am still working on leash manners - I am so excited to explore the world now and learning not everyone has my speed! I'm a fun guy with a great off switch, so I could really give you the best of both worlds. Please ask to meet me today!
