My story
05/13/22 This hunky kitty is Heath! Heath came to the shelter as a stray so we don't have any prior information on him. Here at the shelter he has been an absolute gem! Heath loves attention from his animal tenders and enjoys being petted. He can be a bit vocal if you are in the room and not paying him the attention he feels he deserves! Heath came to the shelter with pretty dirty ears and was treated for ear mites. His second dose of topical treatment should be given on 5/23. Heath should be kept separate from other animals until he has his second dose to prevent the spread of ear mites. Heath has done excellent at using his litterbox at the shelter and has had a very healthy appetite! Heath eats primarily dry food but LOVES when his animal tenders give him canned food! Since he was a stray we do not know how he does with other animals or children. Please make sure to do introductions with new people and animals in a slow, safe, and controlled environment. We would also like to remind the public that the outdoors is a dangerous place for our kitty friends and that the leash law applies to them too. Please keep your kitties inside, on a harness, or in a secure catio! If this love bug sounds like the kitty for you please give the shelter a call!May 16, 2022, 12:43 pm
