My story

　　Haylee is a 2-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier who must be spayed before she is adopted. She is a beautiful dog who has gray with white markings. Haylee currently weighs 71 pounds so she is considered to be a large adult dog. She is both friendly and frisky! We know Haylee would appreciate a nice fenced yard where she could safely play. If you have another dog you would need to bring your dog out for a 'meet and greet'. She is dog selective, meaning she gets along fine with some dogs but not with most dogs. That being said she would need to either be an only dog in her new home or she would need to meet your dog to see if she is going to get along with your dog. Haylee would be good with older children. She would never try to hurt a child but since she is a hefty sized lady who is active she might unintentionally knock a smaller child down. Haylee is going to make an amazing family dog for some lucky adopter. ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****WE ARE REQUIRING THAT HAYLEE BE SPAYED BEFORE SHE IS ADOPTED AND WE ARE REQUIRING A HOME CHECK BEFORE SHE LEAVES THE SHELTER.Dogs may be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
