Hawthorne is the author of his very own story since birth. In his past life, he was actually the one who wrote The Scarlett Letter, but then he ate it. Fast forward to the 21st Century: 6 months ago, this pile of cookie and cream deliciousness entered the world as the result of an affair between an American Bulldog and a Cattle Dog. He was pleased when he plopped out and he has been pleased ever since. He loves to walk his people but is learning that he is the one who is actually being walked. Cats bore him to tears so you wont find him joining their mitten knittin' circle but you will find him in the backyard practicing jumping jacks, as hes been known to challenge a 4 ft fence. Maybe more than once. We had a sit down with Hawthorne about this. While he is boggled its not a hurdle, he is trying hard to accept his boundaries. He is kind and spirited, gentle and loving. Hed do well with children as long as they know how to treat a puppy. That being said, Hawthorne is all puppy. The basic trainings will mold this fine little creature into an exceptional dog. He is making huge progress with house training and he is also crate trained. He loves his foster lab and learns at a remarkable rate. Hell probably have his doctorate within the next 5 years and publish something mind-blowing. We cant wait to see him as Times Dog of The Year and to see you proudly smiling by his side.
