My story
Hathor was named by her foster after the Egyptian goddess of motherhood. She is estimated to be about 8 years old.
She is very loving, but only likes being held for short periods. She does like to snuggle next to you, or on your lap, for cheek scratching or for a nap.
The foster home did not have dogs or children, but with the right introduction she might do well with them. She is not a huge fan of other cats, and would prefer to be the only one in the home.
She is ready for, and deserves, a home of her own. She will be a great companion while she enjoys the rest of her life. Her beautiful blue eyes will shine in her new home.
Hathor had a pretty rough time before coming to Animal Friends Alliance, she does have a medical disclaimer for a condition called Feline Basal Cell Carcinoma as well as Feline Mammary Adenocarcinoma Grade 1. She will need regular follow ups with her vet. She is also FIV+.
We know this makes it a little harder to consider her, but we really hope that the perfect person is going to fall in love with her anyway. She may only have a couple of years left and we want her to spend them somewhere comfortable with people who love her.
