　　I have been asked this before, so I will add this here, the older XBox 360s WILL WORK with Kinect if your Kinect has it's own power supply. Older units do not power USB devices themselves. To add to that, the HD-DVD Drive does come with it's power supply. Xox 360 comes with component cable, but does have an HDMI port, which does work, but I didn't have an open HDMI port for it.
