Harry's story
Harry is a 3 year old, 12lb, scruffy mutt. We can't be too sure about breeds, but our vets educated guess is a Cavalier king Charles/Shih tzu mix. Harry was dumped at a shelter in Houston TX. He was in very bad shape. He had no fur other than on his head, and was incredibly skinny. We knew that Harry didn't have a chance of getting out of the shelter unless a rescue stepped up to save him. It has now been over a month and Harry is a completely different dog! He is loving his life here in CO. His fur is almost completely grown back, he has put on a healthy amount of weight, and he is a happy, happy boy.
Harry is a very sweet and gentle laid back pup who was rescued from Texas and adopted a year ago. Unfortunately, due to sudden serious illness in the family, his mom and dad can no longer keep him. Harry enjoys being around the family, but is a little timid. He is super gentle with children. The ideal environment for him would be in a home with dogs, but not a super overwhelming environment. Harry loves to be with people most of the time, so someone who has lots of time to snuggle and love on him would be perfect. He does love car rides and being walked with or without his leash. Harrys fur grows quickly but he does not
shed. Harry was successfully treated for heart-worm and is now in great health and is looking for his forever family.
