Meet Harris! Harris is a 5 year old, 20 lb poodle mix. He is very loving. He is house trained and uses the dog door. He is crate trained but would love to be with the rest of the pack, human and dog. He loves to play fetch and tag a war. He loves to play with the other dogs. He would do good with an other dog that has his play level. He is very playful, but also loves to get on the couch and watch TV. He is a good watch dog but he doesn't bark just because he can. He will lay down and chill if that is what everyone else is doing. He will come when called & he does know sit and stay. He has learned off, he gets really happy when he see his person and will jump up to meet you. I think he would to best in a home with older children, due to the happy jumping. Harris is a quick study and if you take the time he will do what ever you want him to do. Harris is a very loving and is kind. His foster mom just thinks he is perfect any one will be lucky to have him in their life. Harris is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $250 which helps the rescue cover medical expenses and supplies.
All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.
We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.
All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.
Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
